We can’t get enough news about Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and the Wonders of Xandar pavilion! Cast Members recently got a sneak peek at the pavilion. They also got a look at the uniforms that the Nova Corps will be wearing there. What we know now is that the uniforms are designed and created from sustainable materials!

The planet Xandar and its people are serious about water. Enormous maelstroms are their main source of energy, and algae farms are the main source of food. Those waters actually inspired the design of the uniforms of the Nova Corps. Not just the colors or design, but also the sustainable features of the clothing.

These Earth-friendly outfits are deep blue to pay homage to the waters of Xandar. A red accent represents strength. Each uniform starts with a base material of 70% recycled material. Even the metal buttons along the shoulder pads are made from 75% recycled metal. These clothes are perfect for environmentally-conscious people!

Keep an eye out for a special insignia on the Nova Corps uniforms when you visit. Each uniform has a star insignia made from 95% recycled PVC. And these uniforms are also weather-conscious. A lightweight feel and vents give the outfits a cooling effect.

Don’t worry if you know nothing about Xandar or the Nova Corps. We all have something new to learn at the Wonders of Xandar pavilion! But in case you haven’t watched “Guardians of the Galaxy,” now is the time! The pavilion is opening on May 27th in EPCOT.
