It’s Officially Grinchmas Season at Universal Studios Hollywood!

Get ready for Grinchmas! Universal Studios Hollywood’s Universal Plaza is now the fully decorated Whoville from How The Grinch Stole Christmas. Throughout the holiday season, guests can enjoy a variety of festive fun, including character meet and greets, special story time moments with Cindy Lou Who, the nightly tree lighting ceremony, and many other Grinchmas offerings!

The meticulous decorations surrounding the plaza fully capture the Whoville spirit, including a festive, Grinch-inspired snowman. In a true sign of holiday takeover, the Grinch’s notorious “Buzz Off” and “Scram” signs have been humorously painted over and replaced with cheerful greetings like “Welcome” and “Merry Xmas.”

Beneath a festive “Happy Who-bilation” banner, a remarkable gingerbread Who car is proudly displayed. The entertainment stage, featuring a screen detailing the schedule, serves as the hub for all holiday merriment. Guests can catch Storytime with Cindy Lou, performances by The Fah-Who 4 A’s, and the dazzling Wholiday Tree Lighting, all taking place on the stage (weather permitting).

The heart of the plaza proudly displays a sign reading “Merry Grinchmas 2025,” setting the festive mood. Dominating the stage area is the iconic, wonderfully crooked Christmas tree, around which rows of benches are arranged for guests to view the holiday shows.

The giant, crooked Christmas tree—the whimsical centerpiece of the stage—is surrounded by stacked gift boxes of every size. Its curved branches are dusted with faux snow, and it positively twinkles with rows of oversized, shiny baubles in every color imaginable (blue, gold, green, red, purple, silver, and more). Capping off the spectacular sight is a sparkly gold star adorned with festive jingle bells at each corner.

The Fah-Who 4 A’s is a quartet of singers who perform various holiday songs. You can catch them at 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 2 p.m., 3 p.m., and 4 p.m.

Storytime and Meet & Greet with Cindy Lou Who is at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 12 p.m., 1:30 p.m., and 2:30 p.m.

At night, the tree and surrounding decorations are illuminated. The lighting ceremony is accompanied by snowfall. This takes place at 5:30 p.m., 6:15 p.m., 7 p.m., and 7:45 p.m.
