The Muppets Present…Great Moments in American History in the Magic Kingdom will be closing this month due to cutbacks at Walt Disney World.
It looks like September 30th will be their last day.
There are no showtimes listed on the Disney World website for October 1st and beyond…
No official word has been released from Disney but the no showtimes might be a dead giveaway.
About Great Moments in American History with the Muppets:
The Muppets’ view of history may be a little fuzzy, but it’s totally entertaining.
When you hear the Town Crier calling, gather ‘round outside The Hall of Presidents and look up. Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear and The Great Gonzo soon appear at the windows of the colonial façade to bring America’s stories to life as only they can.
From the midnight ride of Paul Revere to the signing of the Declaration of Independence, each sketch is an all-American celebration of laughs, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
Are you sad to see the Muppets go from the Magic Kingdom? You can still catch them at Hollywood Studios Muppet Vision 3-D.
