Orange County Deputy found the CBD oil in her purse and charged her with a felony as CBD Oil is not legal in Florida. She then spent 12 hours behind bars before being released on a $2,000 bond.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Officer was just following the law and since then the charges against Burkhalter were eventually dropped.

  1. Erica Chambers hit the nail right on the head! I understand not being allowed to take it into the park, but to arrest her for something her doctor recommended? For something that is oil for her arthritis? Come on, Disney. This is one of the very rare times where I agree with a lawsuit. #DisneyVacayGiveaway

  2. First of all I agree with so many whom have posted. Second is CBD oil doesn’t contain any THC of it does it’s less than .03%.
Third I’m from North Carolina no it’s not legal yet fingers crossed. Yet what but seems odd to me is why go get it thru your Dr. I order mine online:full spectrum 1000 33mg per serving 1oz. Yes law enforcement of all kinds need to get a refresher course. Usually it’s a night -week end class .
I believe that there is a testing of which a tiny drop could go . Upon it to test if it’s a opioid or not. Because you have to take Disney side also they are trying to keep you & your family safe. Most of all if you have any questions , concerns and or doubts call Disney. Well before your arrival just to have the piece of mind, and less stress

  3. I live in Florida and there are CBD shops on every corner, they’re like McDonald’s in Tampa.

  4. Whoever wrote this has NO idea what they are talking about! They sell CBD Oil at Target, right here, next to Disney! It is NOT ILLEGAL!

  5. The sad thing is you can get CBD oil at all the smoke shops around Orlando! Don’t see them kicking in that door

  6. I’m very happy to see the charges were dropped, but wow, so embarrassing & definitely NOT a magical day for her!!! #DisneyVacayGiveaway

  7. This is crazy. I don’t know what people are thinking these days. #DisneyVacayGiveaway

  8. This is absolutely nuts! You can buy hemp oil on Amazon. Being charged as a felony & posting bail at $2,000 is crazy, & must have been so embarrassing for her! They should have just fined her. #DisneyVacayGiveaway
