Grand Floridian Resort Lobby to be called The Perch
The ongoing refurbishment of the lobby at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is progressing, and Disney has officially revealed the name of the resort’s upcoming lobby bar: The Perch.

The name was initially unveiled via the official DisneyEats Instagram account, which briefly listed an opening date of November 10, 2025. However, the post was quickly removed, leaving the exact debut date unclear.
Inspired by the resort’s iconic atrium birdcage, The Perch is designed to be an elegant new feature in the lobby. Concept art shows the space will highlight detailed woodwork, rich brass accents, and vibrant stained glass featuring bird motifs, aligning with the resort’s classic Victorian aesthetic.
The new bar marks a major step forward in the overall lobby refurbishment project. Currently, no menu details or pricing information has been released for The Perch.
