The proposed new entrance and hotel, the Gran Destino Tower and Villa Del Lago Bar and Eatery, are starting to take shape! Construction is moving fast on this beauty! The hotel is slated to open July 2019. WE told you there will be SO many things to come in 2019, Disney is not disappointing anyone.
Take a closer look at the picture used to propose the Gran Destino Tower and Villa Del Lago Bar and Eatery. It seriously looks amazing!! The new tower is located at Coronado Springs Resort and we think this will be a great addition to the already fabulous resort.
The Gran Destino Tower is inspired by the great Spanish explorers, writers, and architects. Which you can see coming to life in some of the colorful details that ties into the already existing color scheme of the Coronado.
I love the little windows and the archway of the entrance. The project is not completed yet, but already feels as if you are in another place. Take a closer look at the rest of the architecture that is taking shape! I can’t wait to see this completed.
We also love that you can walk along boardwalk from multiple points of entry to dine on the water. This new bar and eatery will be a great relaxing spot.
Guests who will be staying at the new Gran Destino Tower will serve as the new entrance to the Coronado Springs resort. Those staying at the new resort will walk into a gorgeous two-story lobby before parting ways to one of the 545 new guest rooms, including 50 suites, at the resort. Guests staying at the resort can also enjoy a themed table-service restaurant at the top of the Gran Destino Tower. The views at the top of the Walt Disney Resort will be breathtaking!
