Disney fans are breathing a sigh of relief. The iconic DVC sign featuring Mickey’s best pal Goofy is being restored to its former glory. The Disney Vacation Club sign has been in its place for about 20 years and is loved by kids of all ages.

The sign is located on Buena Vista Drive and some worried it was being removed. Scaffolding erected around the sign had us crossing our fingers that it was just receiving refurbishment. The current state has the sign in a stripped-down state and awaiting some fresh paint and detailing.
With all the new and exciting changes that have been happening on Walt Disney World Property lately were happy to see some things stay for nostalgia’s sake.
Here is an image of the sign from when it first went under scaffolding and before it was stripped down. The DVC logo is displayed on the side of the bright red van, while Goofy rolls on down the road with luggage precariously perched atop the van.
