GoofyCore is Here! CommuniCore Hall Gets a Gooftastic Makeover for EPCOT’s Cool Kid Summer

It’s shaping up to be one Goofy summer at EPCOT—literally! CommuniCore Hall is gearing up for its transformation into “GoofyCore,” part of the all-new Cool Kid Summer celebration rolling out across Walt Disney World, and the first signs of fun are already up.

Newly installed decals now cover the entrances to CommuniCore Hall with a burst of color and character. The star of the show? Our favorite yuck-laughing pal Goofy, grinning ear to ear against a vibrant backdrop of stars and splatter-paint sunbursts. The mural’s cheerful message—“Have a Gooftastic Summer!”—is the perfect tease for the party vibes to come starting May 27!

The hall has been temporarily closed since May 12 to prepare for its Goofy-fied summer makeover. When it reopens, guests will step into Goofy’s ultimate summer playground, complete with interactive games like Loopy Limbo and Parachutes ‘n’ Pipsqueaks, a live DJ, and enough color and energy to make even Max proud.

What to Expect at GoofyCore:

• DJ Dance Parties: Get your groove on with family-friendly beats led by a Goofy-approved DJ.
• Interactive Games: Test your limbo skills and play silly, splashy games with cast members.
• Goofy Appearances: Keep your eyes peeled—Goofy himself might just pop in to join the fun!

And EPCOT isn’t the only park getting into the Cool Kid Summer spirit. Here’s what’s happening across the resort:

• Big Top Bash (Magic Kingdom): At Storybook Circus, it’s a carnival of kid-friendly games, dance parties, and surprise visits from Pluto.
• Galactic Blast (Tomorrowland): Rocket into fun with a spacey dance party featuring Stitch and Elio-themed crafts.
• Get Animated (Hollywood Studios): Animation Courtyard hosts DJ parties, games, crafts, and appearances by Mickey and Disney Junior pals.
• Adventure All Around (Animal Kingdom): Meet characters, earn a Wilderness Explorers badge, and sing your heart out with the Dino Institute Intern!
