Located in Liberty Square in the Magic Kingdom, it’s always Thanksgiving day at Liberty Tree Tavern, where you can get traditional turkey and all the trimmings. Care for something lighter? There are salads, sandwiches and pasta as well. Don’t forget to save room for dessert: The restaurant’s Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake is a favorite among Disney park visitors.
Liberty Tree Tavern is a great place to take a break from the crowds. Parents with small children will feel perfectly comfortable taking them to this sit down restaurant just a few steps away from Fantasyland where they’ll find plenty of kid-friently choices. Meals are served either family style or a la carte. The dining rooms, all six of them, are pretty, furnished in colonial style pieces. Occasionally, the restaurant features characters; when you make your dining reservations, ask the cast member if they’ll be available during your visit.
As with most Disney World restaurants, you’re advised to make your advanced dining reservations as far in advance as possible, up to six months before your trip. Call 800-WDW-DINE to make your ADRS and for additional information. Liberty Tree Tavern is a one table-service credit restaurant for those on the dining plan.
