Glass Slipper Challenge Renamed Disney Fairy Tale Challenge in 2018 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend

The “Glass Slipper Challenge” during Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend has been renamed to “Disney Fairy Tale Challenge.” The 19.3 mile royal adventure combines two days of magical runs including the Disney Princess Enchanted 10K followed by the 10th Anniversary Disney Princess Half Marathon. Registration for the 2018 Disney Princess Half Marathon opens on May 2, 2017. Disney Vacation Club Members can typically register one week prior to general registration.

Disney Fairy Tale Challenge Highlights

• Two courses through the Walt Disney World® Resort totaling 19.3 miles
• Disney Characters and Entertainment on course
• Family Reunion Area with Disney Entertainment and Characters
• Event Weekend Transportation for all Walt Disney World Resort Guests

Disney Fairy Tale Challenge Participants Receive:

• 5th Anniversary Disney Fairy Tale Challenge Finisher Medal, along with Disney Princess Half Marathon and Disney Princess Enchanted 10K Finisher Medals for completing the Half Marathon and 10K
• Champion Short-Sleeved Tech Shirts for the Half Marathon, 10K and Fairy Tale Challenge in Women’s or Men’s Cut

To receive the Disney Fairy Tale Challenge Finisher Medal, you must register for the Disney Fairy Tale Challenge. Registering for the 10K and Half Marathon individually will not make you eligible to receive the Disney Fairy Tale Challenge Finisher Medal.
