Gingerbread Cheer Arrives at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn for the 2025 Holiday Season
The holidays have officially checked in at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn, and the lobby looks sweeter than ever thanks to the return of its charming gingerbread house, festive décor, and a full slate of seasonal treats. If you love Disney gingerbread displays, this one is a must-see — equal parts cozy, whimsical, and absolutely packed with character cameos.

This year’s gingerbread house once again takes inspiration from the BoardWalk Deli, complete with twinkling rooftop lights, icicle trim, striped awnings, and a dusting of powdered sugar snow. Peek through the windows and you’ll spot Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Figaro, Goofy, Donald, and Daisy lending a hand in the bakery. Mickey even spins as he works, naturally adding a little extra flourish to the holiday magic.
Outside the tiny storefronts, a miniature BoardWalk street scene features Christmas trees, branded trash cans, and seasonal signage. There’s even a working cuckoo clock above the deli windows and Mickey-shaped wreaths decorated with gumdrops, candy canes, popcorn, and Cast Member-name ornaments. It’s a sugary celebration from top to bottom.
And speaking of sugar, the ingredients list is just as impressive as the display itself. The gingerbread creation uses 68 gallons of orange blossom honey, 54 pounds of flour, 18 pounds of fondant, and more, crafted by 24 bakery Cast Members who spent a combined 280 hours decorating it.
Holiday merch is also available at the treats table, including a limited-edition BoardWalk Inn gingerbread pin and ornament. Both feature the gingerbread deli design and seasonal characters, and the table opens daily from 2 to 9:30 p.m.

Treats on the menu include Italian rainbow cookies, Linzer cookies, sugar cookies, caramel corn cookies, gluten-friendly gingerbread Mickeys, chocolate bars, gingersnaps, and Joffrey’s hot cocoa with optional peppermint, gingerbread, and boozy upgrades. A true BoardWalk holiday snack stroll.
Throughout the lobby, garlands drape from columns, wreaths line the check-in area, and carnival-inspired Christmas trees frame the gingerbread house. A larger tree outside on the lawn continues the seaside-holiday theme with a red-green-gold star topper.
If you’re visiting Walt Disney World for the holidays, the BoardWalk Inn is absolutely worth a festive detour — this year’s gingerbread display is loaded with charm, craft, and candy-coated details from floor to ceiling.
