Walt Disney World Resort’s holiday season promises to be a historical journey in confectionery form this year as The American Adventure at EPCOT will once again be home to an extraordinary gingerbread display, slated to run from November 24 through December 30. This elaborate exhibition will honor American history and Disney heritage with sweet renditions of some of the nation’s most iconic landmarks.

Visitors to the park can expect to marvel at edible sculptures of the Lincoln Memorial and the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial, bringing a bite of history to the festive season. The display extends to a gingerbread model of The American Adventure building itself, complete with an adjacent Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue, capturing the essence of the pavilion’s celebration of American culture and innovation.

Adding a sprinkle of playful Disney charm to the mix, guests are invited to engage in a festive scavenger hunt to locate 6 hidden Mickeys artfully concealed within the display. This interactive element is sure to delight Disney fans of all ages, providing an entertaining challenge that combines the joy of discovery with the magic of the season.

The Festival Marketplace, also rendered in gingerbread, will add to the ambiance, creating a sense of wonder and nostalgia, reminiscent of holiday markets that have become synonymous with this time of year.
