George Lucas Would Return to Direct Star Wars if Given Full Control

Rumor has it that George Lucas would return to direct the next Star Wars films if he was given full control!

It was reported that George Lucas expressed interest in returning to direct the upcoming Star Wars films. He would only take on this role if he had complete creative control over these endeavors.

It is well-known in the Star Wars community that fans are less-than-pleased with the content that has been created since Disney took over the franchise. Could Disney and George Lucas be willing to settle their differences by giving Lucas control over the next trilogy?

Some sources also say that Lucas wants to include Dave Filoni – the creator of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. These rumors have not been confirmed and neither Lucas or Filoni have publicly stated their interest in this endeavor, but stay tuned.
