George Lucas Drops By the Set of "The Mandalorian"

Late last week, on his 52nd birthday, Jon Favreau got quite the surprise: George Lucas dropped by the set of The Mandalorian.  The creator of the upcoming live-action Star Wars series posted two photos on Instagram with the icon.

In one he used the caption “Birthday Surprise.” The other simply used the hashtag “#theMandalorian” but did pull in executive producer Dave Filoni.

The two snaps are all we get of the visit, though some fans are already trying to look for clues in the background of the shots.  The first season of The Mandalorian is currently in production.
