Gas Station Shooting Near DisneyWorld Leaves Man Dead

This gas station is due East of Epcot. So be careful if you are in the area. Here is the article from News 13.

Orange County deputies said a speeding red Honda is one of their only clues after a man was gunned down at a gas station near Walt Disney World.

Investigators said the victim, 22, was pumping gas at a Circle K on Apopka Vineland Road, when someone opened fire.

After the victim was shot, he and a friend got back in their car and took off, then stopped at a nearby Shell gas station to get help.

Rescue crews rushed to the scene, but by the time they arrived, it was too late to save the man.

Witnesses said they saw the red Honda speed away from the area, but deputies said they have no other information about the shooter.

Deputies said based on their investigation, they did not think the shooting was random, and are following up on all possible leads.
