Gary Sinise Foundation Hosts 1700 Children and surviving spouses of our Nation’s Fallen Military Heroes

This holiday season, the Gary Sinise Foundation provided a much-needed escape for 1,700+ children of military families at Snowball Express in Orlando. For five days, these families experienced joy, healing, and connection, honoring their fallen loved ones and creating cherished memories.

The festivities began with a warm welcome at airports nationwide, courtesy of American Airlines. Fully decorated terminals, cheerful volunteers, and even Mickey and Minnie greeted families, setting the holiday tone from the start.

A powerful moment of remembrance unfolded during the Walk of Gratitude at Disney’s Magic Kingdom. As families walked down Main Street, U.S.A., they were embraced by the warmth and compassion of Disney cast members. The journey culminated in a moving tribute, where families honored their fallen heroes with messages of love and gratitude.

Families embarked on a thrilling adventure at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, exploring its many wonders and enjoying unforgettable moments together. This magical setting provided a unique opportunity for connection, joy, and the creation of cherished memories.

The night culminated with a rocking performance by Gary Sinise & the Lt. Dan Band at EPCOT. Welcomed by the Patriot Guard Riders and treated to a red-carpet entrance, families danced the night away, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

For moments of quiet reflection, families visited the Remembrance Garden, a peaceful sanctuary dedicated to honoring their fallen loved ones.

This event is a testament to the Foundation’s mission of serving those who serve and sacrifice.
