The Garden View Lounge at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is getting ready to pour a little more magic back into guests’ cups in early 2026. After a lengthy closure during the resort’s ongoing multi-year refurbishment, Disney has announced that the space will reopen with a completely refreshed look and a new “elevated tea experience” designed to charm guests of all ages.

Formerly known as the Garden View Tea Room, this beloved lounge has long been a favorite for its elegant afternoon tea service—a tradition dating back decades at the Grand Floridian. Now, it’s returning with a fresh infusion of Disney whimsy and refined style to match the resort’s newly updated lobby and guest rooms.
According to Disney, the reimagined lounge will feature refined décor, themed touches, and a new tea service that balances sophistication with family-friendly fun. While details on the menu and structure of the experience haven’t been released yet, the company notes that it will appeal equally to children and adults—hinting at a refreshed twist on the timeless tea tradition guests have missed since the lounge’s closure.
