It appears that Fuel Rod charging stations are up and running at Walt Disney World for guests to purchase their own fuel rod batter charger set! For $30 you get a fuel rod charger, as well as a USB cord to match the type of device you have.
It’s said that the chargers have about 8 hours of charge added to phones and can add 4 hours of charge to your tablet. The beauty of it is though, that once you drain the Fuel Rod you can go back to another kiosk and exchange your used Fuel Rod for a new fully charged one! You can also charge it yourself with a USB cable if you prefer, because once you purchase the Fuel Rod, it is yours to keep.

This is a great option however if you buy this before you go it is only $20 so Disney is making some extra money off of you. You still are able to swap the fuel rod even if you buy it ahead of getting to Disney.
