In a story that seems like something straight out of a Disney film, Kristin Bell who is best known in Disney circles for her role as Princess Anna in Frozen found herself stranded in Florida for Hurricane Irma’s approach after filming her upcoming movie “Like Father” on location in Fort Lauderdale.
Realizing Bell’s schedule did not give her time to evacuate, she instead decided yesterday to wait out the storm at Walt Disney World with a stay at Disney’s Swan and Dolphin Resort. However, in a magical turn of events, Bell first played a part in whisking Josh Gad’s parents to safety. You’ll know Gad as the actor who voiced the role of everyone’s favorite snowman Olaf!
It seems pretty unbelievable that Princess Anna would rush in and help to keep Olaf’s parents out of harm’s way. However, check out this tweet posted by Gad at 12 am this morning.
So @kristenanniebell literally saved my parents and my entire family tonight from #hurricaneirma . When they were stranded in Florida, she got them a hotel room at her hotel in Orlando and saved them, my brothers, my sister-in-law and niece and nephew. They don’t make them like this girl. Thank you Kristin. You are truly an angel sent from above. And thank you @ewablueeyes for bother her when I asked you not to!!!!
According to a piece in HuffPost, it is being reported that Gad’s family including parents, brothers, nieces, and nephews were stranded in Florida and were quickly taken in by Bell who managed to secure them a room at her Resort. Gad took to Instagram to say, “They don’t make them like this girl. Thank you, Kristin. You are truly an angel sent from above.”
It would appear that some people are indeed worth melting for.
