A Contemporary Take on a Legendary Tale
Developed exclusively for the Disney Destiny, this modern stage adaptation of Hercules reimagines the animated classic with a fresh, theatrical twist. Staying true to the spirit and storyline of the original Walt Disney Animation Studios film, the show celebrates the heart, humor, and heroism fans know and love — but now presented with electrifying live performances, dynamic staging, and modern musical flair.
The beloved soundtrack gets a full theatrical upgrade with new musical arrangements that blend soulful gospel energy with pop concert power. From the rousing “Go the Distance” to the show-stopping “Zero to Hero,” and the sultry “I Won’t Say I’m in Love,” every song is a moment. Plus, for the first time ever, fans will hear “Shooting Star,” a heartfelt ballad originally written by Alan Menken and David Zippel for the film but never included — until now.

Newly released concept art showcases a jaw-dropping scene straight from Hercules’ legendary trials. Guests will witness an epic battle between the mighty hero and the monstrous multi-headed Hydra, with thunder crashing, lightning flashing, and Hades, along with Pain and Panic, gleefully watching from above.
This intense showdown highlights a key innovation in the show’s design: massive, award-winning puppetry. The brilliant Michael Curry, known for his work on Broadway’s The Lion King and Disney Cruise Line’s The Tale of Moana, brings the mythological behemoths of the story to life in larger-than-life form, using sophisticated puppets that promise to stun guests with scale and realism.
