Good afternoon to all my friends at Chip and Co.! It’s Anonymouse here and today, I have some news I’m sure you’re going to love! I’m hearing some rumors that free dining at Disney World may be extended this year!
Currently, Disney has released free dining for check-in between September 2-25, 2013. However, many guests have received pin codes for free dining for the following dates: August 25- October 2, October 18-October 31, November 11-November 23, November 30-December 4, and December 15-22.
If history proves true once again, these pin codes seem to precede the upcoming Disney offers, meaning that free dining at Disney World should be extended for select dates through December 2013.
My friends are telling me that the extension of free dining at Disney World could be announced as soon as July, but there are no official dates yet. The September free dining offer expires July 31, 2013 so I would expect to hear something by then!
Don’t forget, you receive a free quick service dining plan at most value resorts and a free basic dining plan when you stay at most moderate or deluxe resorts with this offer!

I think Columbus Day weekend falls during those days so they usually black out free dining around that weekend.
Any ideas on why there is a break from 10/2-10/18. We arrive on 10/16 and stay till 10/22, two days to early. UGH have thought about changing our arrival date, but what a big hassle our dinner reservations and flight are already booked. Think they will include 10/16 eventually?
Question: We are booked for Oct 12 arrival, since the codes aren’t showing free dining at that time, does that mean that there will be no other discount available for that week???
We are about to book Oct. How do I get a pin?
I received a pin for the free dining and we are booked for Halloween! I believe the only reason I got this pin was because I had booked a free dining plan through the WDW website last year.
Those with the ‘pin’, although you arent allowed to share the pin, you are allowed to book multiple rooms for multiple families. I think this would be a great idea for a family reunion or large parties! Everyone would get free dining!
I hope this proves true. I’m headed down the second week of November for my mother’s 70th birthday. This would be great surprise since I’ve only done qsd and were stay at port Orleans riverside so we would get the regular dining plan. Here’s hoping!!!
I got an email from Disney with those dates that you posted for the free dining. So I am pretty sure that is what they are doing
So what do you think the odds are that they will extend the dates ‘backwards’ for those with no pin? We go August 24th 🙂
