From creative genius Tim Burton (Alice in Wonderland,The Nightmare Before Christmas) comesFrankenweenie, a heartwarming tale about a boy and his dog. After unexpectedly losing his beloved dog Sparky, young Victor harnesses the power of science to bring his best friend back to life—with just a few minor adjustments. He tries to hide his home-sewn creation, but when Sparky gets out, Victor’s fellow students, teachers, and the entire town all learn that getting a new “leash on life” can be monstrous. A stop-motion animated film, Frankenweenie has been filmed in black and white and rendered in 3D, which will elevate the classic style to a whole new experience.
The El Capitan Theatre is thrilled to invite D23 Members to be among the first audiences to see Tim Burton’s newest movie, Frankenweenie. This special Midnight screening will include a costume contest with prizes and lots of surprises! Plus, see a display from the stop-motion making of the film, and experience an educational interactive exhibit from Discovery Science Center.
Additionally, guests attending the Midnight show can also add-on the Black & White Dinner at Disney’s Soda Fountain and Studio Store for an additional ticket price.
