A Class action lawsuit by two hundred fifty former Disney World I.T. & Administrative workers who were recently replaced by Indian workers on H-1B visas are suing Disney for discrimination.
According to the Orlando Sentinel & WFTV the lawsuit was filed in Federal Court this past Monday in Orlando. Previously 2 of the employees attempted to sue Disney but the lawsuit was dismissed earlier this year.
The training of new employees with H-1B visas and the letting go of current employees is a hot button issue that President Elect Donald Trump plans to address while in office.
This new lawsuit is going for reimbursement of lost wages, benefits and reinstatement to an equivalent position at Disney including back pay with interest.
