Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel and Spa at the Disneyland Resort is widely known as the property’s best hotel. The beautiful craftsman style theming combined with Disney service has earned the hotel many accolades. The hotel and spa was recently recognized by Forbes who gave the resort it’s coveted Forbes Travel Guide Star Award for 2019.
Forbes Travel Guide compiles a yearly list of the top luxury experiences in the world. Examinations of resorts are done by anonymous inspectors and their findings are then used to create the list of top hotels, restaurants, and spas. The only way to earn a Star Rating is by Forbes’ independent inspection process. Inspectors check-in to rooms and extensively test up to 900 standards, down to the smallest details. This year, Disney’s Grand Californian has earned the Star distinction as well as being the first hotel in Anaheim to achieve a spot on the list.
Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel and Spa is Disneyland’s premier hotel. The hotel recently underwent a massive refurbishment that spruced up many areas including rooms and lobby. Not only does it have relaxing rooms, an awe-inspiring lobby and a world-class spa, it’s also home to the popular Storyteller’s Cafe and Napa Rose restaurants. The resort even features its own private entrance into Disney California Adventure park and front door access to the Downtown Disney area.
