Tourism has been slowly coming back in some places and is booming in others after the pandemic severely hurt the industry. Florida is one of the more successful states and tourism has once again topped pre-pandemic levels!

Governor Ron DeSantis shared this week that in 2021, nearly 118 million Americans visited Florida. From October to December of last year 30.9 million visitors came to the state. That is the second consecutive quarter where visitation has topped pre-pandemic levels.
Florida had more visitors in the third and fourth quarters of 2021 than the same time frame in 2019!

Usually January and February are slower months at Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando. This year, however, we have seen larger than normal crowds at the theme parks. It looks like early 2022 will continue the current tourism trend in Florida!
