Can you think of a movie that you watched more than once in theaters? Did you see it more than twice? What about 292 times in theaters?! Because one movie lover has seen Spider-Man: No Way Home in theaters a whopping 292 times!
Ramiro Alanis watched the Spider-Man movie 292 times in theaters from Dec. 16, 2021 to March 15, 2022. If you do the math, you’ll see that he spent 720 hours watching the same movie.

According to the rules and guidelines of Guinness World Records:
“In order for each viewing to be successfully counted towards the record total, the movie must be watched independently of any other activity. That means Ramiro couldn’t look at his phone, take a nap, or even go to the bathroom whilst the movie was running.”
I’m sure some of us are guilty of checking our phones during a movie! It’s quite impressive to achieve this kind of world record considering the criteria.

By the end of his run, Alanis claims that he’s “pretty much” memorized the movie’s entire dialogue. He estimates that he spent around $3,400 on movie tickets.
