First Photos from Captain America Brave New World Revealed

Marvel Studios unveiled the first glimpses of Captain America: Brave New World at CinemaCon, followed by exclusive photos released via Entertainment Weekly.

In one image, Anthony Mackie strolls through an undisclosed setting, his shield in hand even in casual attire. Another reveals Mackie’s Sam Wilson donning his new Captain America costume, engaging in conversation with Harrison Ford’s President “Thunderbolt” Ross. These snapshots align with the recently revealed footage from Marvel Studios, hinting at the film’s intriguing narrative threads.

In an exclusive interview with EW, Anthony Mackie teased the scale of Captain America: Brave New World, emphasizing that it transcends being a mere sequel to The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Mackie emphasized the film’s distinct storyline and characters, signaling a significant narrative shift within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

“This movie is a clear reset. It really reestablishes the idea of what this universe is and what this universe is going to be,” Mackie shared with the outlet, drawing parallels to the impactful rebranding seen in Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

The unveiled photo captures a pivotal moment from the CinemaCon footage, depicting Harrison Ford’s President Ross greeting Sam Wilson at The White House. Their banter humorously touches on Sam’s new role as Captain America and Ford’s portrayal of Thunderbolt Ross.

Captain America: Brave New World boasts a stellar cast, including Danny Ramirez as Joaquin Torres and newcomer Shira Haas as Sabra. Notably, Tim Blake Nelson returns as Samuel Sterns aka The Leader, alongside Liv Tyler as Betsy Ross, marking their first appearances in a Marvel Studios feature film since 2008’s The Incredible Hulk.
