Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure at EPCOT has finally received the new physical props Disney previously announced as part of the attraction’s move from 3D to 2D. The ride made that visual transition last year, but the additional set pieces had yet to appear until now.

The new props are designed to better blend the attraction’s large screens with the surrounding physical sets. One of the biggest additions is a large box of spilled spaghetti in Gusteau’s kitchen, positioned near the scene where guests travel underneath the counter. The prop helps disguise the transition between the screen and the practical scenery while also adding another oversized detail that fits the ride’s rat-sized perspective.
Another new set piece has been added to the finale inside Remy’s restaurant. A large cutting board now sits between riders and the screen, complete with a wine cork, block of cheese, and upside-down teacup. Like the spaghetti box, the new addition helps cover some of the visual seams in the attraction while making the scene feel a little more layered and immersive.

The changes bring the EPCOT version of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure more in line with the Disneyland Paris attraction, which also received new props after its own conversion to 2D.
