The “Woo-hoo!” heard ‘round the world is officially coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and the energy is absolutely electric. We are reporting live from a special media preview in the heart of New York City, where Disney just pulled back the curtain on the highly anticipated Muppets-themed reimagining of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster.

From a first-ever listen of the new high-octane soundtrack to a reveal of the vibrant new artwork for the queue, it’s clear that Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem are ready to take center stage in the most chaotic and wonderful way possible.

A Muppet Twist on a Rock Classic: “Song 2”

While Disney teased the song title on social media earlier this morning, attendees at today’s NYC event were treated to an exclusive full-track preview of the ride’s new anthem. The Electric Mayhem has officially covered Blur’s legendary hit “Song 2,” and the result is pure Muppet magic.

Disney confirmed a thrilling detail for those waiting back in Orlando: nobody else will get to hear this specific version of the track until the ride officially opens at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The song is high-energy, totally chaotic in the best way, and perfectly paced for the coaster’s legendary 0-to-57 mph launch. We can already tell that the “Woo-hoo!” hook is going to be an instant icon for riders as they blast into the neon-lit tunnels of Los Angeles. It’s loud, it’s proud, and it’s undeniably “Mayhem.”

First Look: The Electric Mayhem Hits the Queue

Sound isn’t the only thing changing at G-Force Records. We also got our first look at the brand-new posters featuring the Electric Mayhem that riders will see lining the queue.

These posters are a brilliant blend of classic rock-and-roll concert aesthetics and the whimsical spirit of the Muppets. Each member of the band gets their moment in the spotlight:

  • Dr. Teeth looks as soulful as ever behind the keys.
  • Animal is captured in a blur of drumsticks and fur, ready to rock.
  • Janice, Floyd, Zoot, and Lips all bring their unique, groovy vibes to the artwork.

These posters serve as the “opening act” for the ride, setting the stage and building the lore of the band’s frantic race to their own concert. The attention to detail is fantastic, with plenty of “Easter eggs” that longtime Muppet fans will surely appreciate while waiting to board their “limos.”

The Final Countdown to Launch

The transition from Aerosmith to the Muppets marks a bold new chapter for one of Disney World’s most popular thrill rides. By keeping the high-speed intensity of the coaster and infusing it with the humor and musical legacy of the Muppets, Disney is creating a multi-generational experience that feels both fresh and nostalgic.

While we wait for the official opening date at Hollywood Studios, one thing is certain: the “limo” is fueled up and the band is ready to roll.
