Pixar Debuts Trailer for Dream Productions, a New Disney+ Series from the World of Inside Out

Pixar Animation Studios has unveiled the trailer for Dream Productions, an all-new series that takes viewers back to the imaginative world of Riley’s mind. This time, we’re diving into the realm of dreams, where every night, on time, and on budget, dreams come to life.

Set between the events of Inside Out and Inside Out 2, the limited series will premiere on Disney+ on Wednesday, December 11. In Dream Productions, Riley’s growing up, and her memories need some extra processing. To handle this, Joy and the rest of the Core Emotions send them to Dream Productions.

The series follows the hilarious misadventures of acclaimed director Paula Persimmon (voiced by Paula Pell), who faces a nightmare of her own: trying to create the next hit dream while paired with Xeni (voiced by Richard Ayoade), a smug daydream director aiming for the big leagues of night dreams.

With a star-studded voice cast including Amy Poehler, Maya Rudolph, Ally Maki, Kensington Tallman, Liza Lapira, Tony Hale, Lewis Black, and Phyllis Smith, Dream Productions promises to be a hilarious, mockumentary-style series. The show is written and directed by Mike Jones and produced by Jaclyn Simon. The original score, composed by Nami Melumad, will be available on all streaming platforms starting Friday, December 20.
