Even though the theme parks at the Disneyland Resort are still closed, work has continued on the new Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure!
Josh D’Amaro, Chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products, recently took a tour of the new land with Kevin Feige, President of Marvel Studios, Ken Potrock, Disneyland Resort President, and Walt Disney Imagineering. D’Amaro shared some pictures of the Quinjet that was recently installed in the land.
The Quinjet was placed near the upcoming Marvel Avengers attraction. This ride is not set to open when Avengers Campus first opens, but it will still showcase this signature Marvel vehicle.
Avengers Campus will be one of the largest additions to Disney California Adventure in the park’s history. The new land was originally scheduled to open summer of 2020 but due to COVID-19, construction was pushed back and the opening has been delayed.
The parks and hotels at the Disneyland Resort remain closed for now but we will update as soon as Disney announces a reopening date.
