Dinosaur lovers, I hope you have a Netflix account! The first-ever Jurassic World TV series is coming to Netflix this fall. Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous is an animated series that follows a plucky group of kids who are determined to have the “most amazing” camp trip ever.
The show comes from executive producers Steven Spielberg, Colin Trevorrow, and Frank Marshall, along with showrunners Scott Kreamer and Aaron Hammersley.
The story is similar to the other Jurassic Park & Jurassic World movies. A group of dino-loving visitors enters a theme park filled with real dinosaurs, only to discover that the park’s safety mechanisms aren’t that safe. While the popular Jurassic movies feature kids, the main characters are always adults who come to their aid. This series, however, does not seem to have any adult characters! What kind of camp is this?
There is bound to be some violence in the show but it does have a TVPG rating. Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous premiers on Netflix on September 18. Check out the trailer below:
