First Full-Length Trailer for Disney’s “Zootopia 2” is Out Now!

First Trailer for ‘Zootopia 2’ Reveals a Rocky Partnership for Nick and Judy, New Cast Details

Walt Disney Animation Studios has released the first official trailer and poster for “Zootopia 2,” the long-awaited sequel to the Oscar-winning 2016 film. The new footage gives fans a first look at the central conflict facing Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde and introduces a host of new characters voiced by Ke Huy Quan, Quinta Brunson, and Fortune Feimster. The film is set to hit theaters on November 26, 2025.

In the upcoming sequel, the dynamic partnership between rookie cops Judy Hopps (voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin) and Nick Wilde (voiced by Jason Bateman) is apparently not as solid as it seemed. After an order from Chief Bogo (Idris Elba), the pair find themselves in a “Partners in Crisis” counseling program. Their relationship is put to the ultimate test when they must solve a twisting new mystery involving the arrival of a venomous snake, Gary De’Snake (Ke Huy Quan), in the metropolis.

The film expands the world of Zootopia with several new characters, including the previously mentioned snake, a character named Nibbles (Fortune Feimster), and a quokka therapist, Dr. Fuzzby (Quinta Brunson). The movie also welcomes back a herd of characters from the first film.

“It’s been an absolute joy to reteam with so many actors who made the first film so special, and so exciting to expand the world with our phenomenal new cast members,” said director and writer Jared Bush. “I can’t wait for audiences to see what other surprises we have in store in this brand-new adventure.”

“Zootopia 2” arrives exclusively in theaters this holiday season on November 26.
