First Disney Cruise sets sail since 2020

Disney Cruise Line sailings have been suspended since early 2020 due to the pandemic. Yesterday, the first Disney cruise with guests set sail in over a year! This first cruise is a special test sailing of the Disney Magic from Dover to Southampton, England, U.K. with select test cruisers.

Crew members and cruisers have taken to Instagram sharing their photos and excitement.

The Disney Magic will be setting sail on unique Disney Staycation at Sea sailings in the UK starting this month. The sailings are 2-, 3-, and 4-night cruises.

Disney Cruise Line’s first test cruise out of Florida was scheduled for the end of June but has been postponed. Disney Cruise Line is taking every precaution to keep guests and crew safe while onboard.
