A Disney First: Coco Attraction Unveiled for California Adventure
Exciting news for Pixar fans! First announced at the D23 Expo last August, the highly anticipated “Coco” attraction at Disneyland Resort is taking shape. Recently, Disney revealed additional details about what guests can look forward to with this groundbreaking addition.

This new Coco attraction will be built in what’s currently a backstage area, nestled between Paradise Gardens Park and Pixar Pier. Construction for this exciting new land is expected to begin this fall.
While details about the attraction’s story are still under wraps, concept art suggests it will be a boat ride. What we do know for certain is that the beloved skeletal characters from Coco will be vibrantly brought to life using Disney’s latest Audio-Animatronics technology.
