Fredrick Torres was fired on Thursday but that didn’t stop him from showing up to work at Universal Studios on Friday morning and threatening his boss, claiming he would kill his “number one artist” if he really was fired.
Shortly afterwards he went to the construction site at the Toon Lagoon area of Islands of Adventure and attacked a co-worker Glenn Fugerson with a pair of scissors, Furgerson was reported to be the man who contacted Torres’ boss to let him know Torres has returned to work.
According to park goers, Torres started chasing Ferguson who tried hiding behind a security officer who tried to get in between the two, however when security was called to Toon Lagoon they found a lifeless Ferguson with Torres on top of him. Ferguson was rushed to the hospital with multiple stab wounds and a severed artery in his neck, which caused brain damage, there is a 50% chance of him surviving.
Torres is being held without bail at the Orange County jailhouse facing charges of attempted first degree murder.
A spokesperson from Universal Studios confirmed both men were contractors not employees of Universal Studios.

Were there people in the park? Did any children witness it? That’s horrible.
