Fire in the Magic Kingdom on Under the Sea: Journey of the Little Mermaid in Walt Disney World

A fire broke out last night at Under the Sea: Journey of the Little Mermaid during Wishes, a nightly fireworks display at the Magic Kingdom. Park guests saw fire on top of the attraction which was started by the fireworks display. Many guests stated that the fire spread to the rock work but this is unconfirmed. Reedy Creek Fire stated that the fire was put out by a fire extinguisher.

The fire did not do any damage to the ride itself and after a brief closing the ride is back up and running at this time. Luckily no one was hurt from this incident.
