For April, Disney is highlighting the importance of Earth Month to help continue the legacy of preserving nature around the world for generations to come. The Walt Disney Company’s culture of conservation and environmental stewardship dates back to Walt Disney himself.
“Conservation isn’t just the business of a few people – it’s a matter that concerns all of us.”
-Walt Disney
So for this month, Disney hopes to take you on a journey across their global parks to experience uniquely Disney environmental initiatives.

Disney-owned and operated sites are working to reduce single-use plastics and to harness the power of the sun. Such efforts will reduce tens of thousands of tons of greenhouse gas emissions each year. They’re also providing guests with hundreds of plant-based dining options and sustainable seafood choices. By offering more sustainable products and packaging, Disney is renewing a commitment to ongoing environmental stewardship.
Also, stay tuned for updates in April. Disney will be sharing delicious, environmentally friendly recipes, a sustainable gift guide and much more.
