Disney’s Descendants Continues with Fifth Film!
The magic of Auradon and Wonderland is set to return as Disney Branded Television has officially announced a fifth installment in the wildly popular “Descendants” franchise. Production is slated to begin soon, promising fans more music, dance, and the captivating stories of Disney’s iconic characters’ offspring on both Disney Channel and Disney+.

Following the success of 2024’s “Descendants: The Rise of Red,” the new film will pick up with Princesses Red (Kylie Cantrall), daughter of the Queen of Hearts, and Chloe (Malia Baker), daughter of Cinderella, as they navigate the aftermath of their time-traveling adventures. The sequel will delve into the ominous warning left at the end of the previous film: “There are consequences when you alter the fabric of time.” Set primarily in present-day Wonderland, the film will explore the true meaning of “happily ever after” in the face of temporal disruptions.

Cantrall and Baker will reprise their beloved roles, joined by Leonardo Nam as Maddox Hatter. The film will also introduce a fresh wave of descendants, including Liamani Segura as Red’s sister Pink, Brendon Tremblay as Max Hatter, Alexandro Byrd as Luis Madrigal, and Kiara Romero as Hazel Hook. Further casting announcements are eagerly anticipated.

The film’s social media impact was equally impressive, garnering over 10 billion impressions and 11 million followers. The “Red” costume also topped Halloween sales charts.
Beyond the screen, the franchise’s success extends to music and literature. The first two movie soundtracks are certified gold, while the third and fourth topped Billboard charts. Over 57 “Descendants” books have been published, including a four-time New York Times bestselling series.
