Walt Disney Company Chairman and CEO, Bob Iger has officially confirmed a Fifth Indiana Jones Film.  During a recent interview with Bloomberg, Mr. Iger talked about the huge success of the recent Star Wars: The Force Awakens film, mentioning how “that opened up the possibility to more sequels. Especially one for “Indiana Jones, by the way, which will be coming.”

As if the announcement isn’t exciting enough for Indy Fans like me, Mr. Spielberg added his comments about the film to Screen International. Spielberg confirmed he would like to keep the series going with Harrison Ford in the role and was quoted as saying “As long as there’s more adventures out there, I’ve got a bullwhip, a fedora, a leather jacket and a man on a horse who knows how to get the job done,”

Your favorite Entertainment Writer is beyond excited at the news and can’t wait to find out and share all the details of the film.  For now I am happy to know that there is a fifth installment on the way and Harrison Ford will be back to continue his adventures.  Follow me on www.chipandco.com for more Indy and Disney news and updates.
