Hey parade-lovin’ friends! It is I, Anonymouse, making a grand entrance with a little Walt Disney World gossip!
As we shared with you recently, Disney is about to put a kink in the “What time is the 3:00 o’clock parade?” question with their recent announcement of a time change for the Festival of Fantasy Parade. Beginning August 20 the Festival of Fantasy parade will change from 3:00pm to 2:00pm.
Before you write that new parade time in ink on your handy dandy 200-page itinerary planner, you might want to know that I am hearing this change is just temporary. It looks like beginning December 23 the parade start time will return to 3:00pm.
No official word on why this just may be a temporary time adjustment for the Festival of Fantasy Parade, but it looks like Disney might have needed a little extra time on party nights. The scheduling changes corresponds to right before the start of the Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and looks like it will end the last day of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party dates. I’ll keep watching for the official word from Disney!
