Fans Want Gordon Ramsay to Play Chef Louis in Live Action “The Little Mermaid“. This might just be the best thing I get to write about this week.

Everyone knows the talented real life Master Chef, Gordon Ramsay, and his no-nonsense ways around a kitchen. It seems fans think Chef Ramsay is the obvious choice to portray Chef Louis in the live action remake of Disney’s The Little Mermaid.

Even if Disney decides to go in a different direction with casting, the idea of Gordon playing Chef Louis has fans chatting.

Some of the exciting elements about the casting would be the chance to see Gordon Ramsay sing his way around a kitchen, yelling at some poor kitchen staff members in the film, and watching Ramsey chase around Sebastian the Crab throughout the castle kitchen.

Disney has cast the very talented Halle Bailey as Ariel, but has yet to announce the rest of the films official casting choices.

Rumored to be cast is Melissa McCarthy as Ursula and Terry Cruise has put his crown in the ring to play King Triton, though most outlets believe Idris Alba is more likely to land the role as the Mer-King. There is no word yet about potential castings for Prince Eric or Ariel’s best buddy, Flounder.
