Great News! It looks like the refurbishment of Expedition Everest in Disney’s Animal Kingdom is back on track (maybe a little early). Last we heard Expedition Everest Refurbishment is no longer listing a reopening date, originally it was scheduled for April 30th.
However, the Disney World Website now lists Expedition Everest as reopening on April 16th, 2022.
Wander into a Tibetan village at the base of Mount Everest and board a train to the “top of the world.” Beware: Some say a legendary snow monster lives deep in the mountain.
After a steep ascent, your train picks up speed and races into the darkness. Without warning, a broken and twisted track appears in front of you. We are also hearing word that Expedition Everest will be added to the Disney Genie+ service through August 7, 2022. Lightning Lane entry will not be available as an individual, a la carte purchase at Expedition Everest during this period.
