On the September 10, Disney Wonder sailing from Vancouver, Canada, guests will be able to enjoy a stop at a very special port-o-call.  Cruisers will have the chance to experience the enchanting history and culture of Astoria, Oregon.

Nestled on the banks of the Columbia River and Youngs Bay, this town is the nation’s oldest settlement west of the Rockies.  It is the site of Fort Clatsop where Lewis and Clark camped after the expedition to the Pacific.  You’ll find exciting adventures here to appeal to all tastes from historic landmarks to a chance to check out the local arts and culture.  With this in mind, Disney has hand-picked an eclectic array of Port Adventures to give guests a taste of all this amazing area has to offer.

Explore Mount St. Helens National Monument – Check out the fascinating remnants of the volcano’s 1980 eruption.  After discovering the science and beauty of the craters, lava dome and blast zone, guests will head to a gorgeous mountain vista for a picnic-style lunch with stunning views.
