Ewan McGregor Shows Off ‘Obi-Wan’ Length Hair During 2020 Golden Globes. Fans were elated when the announcement came that Ewan McGregor would be returning as Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi for a new Star Wars series coming soon to Disney’s new streaming service, Disney+.

The new series will focus on Obi-Wan Kenobi after the events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, after he brings Luke Skywalker as an infant to his Uncle and Aunt on Tatooine. The series will also take place in roughly the same time period as Solo: A Star Wars Story, so there is always the possibility of a cross over between the two storylines, but likely not interactions between Han Solo, Chewbacca, and Obi-Wan. We may see the presents of the Crimson Dawn, but that has yet to be confirmed.

Excitement for the untitled Star Wars series quickly resurfaced after the appearance of Ewan McGregor during the 2020 Golden Globes, who presented one of the awards alongside Margot Robbie (Birds of Prey). McGregor notably had rather long hair that reminded Star Wars fans of his hairstyle in Star Wars: Attack of the Clones, leading fans to believe the untitled Kenobi Series may be coming sooner than expected.
