Epcot’s Imagination Pavilion Jumping Fountains Are Working Again

If you’re a Figment fan, you probably know about the jumping fountains in Imagination Plaza. This quiet little area sits where the Pixar shorts let audiences exit, and if you allow it to, it will keep you captivated and calm for a very long time. The fountains have been shut off since Walt Disney World closed in March 2020. But good news: they’re working again!

With Epcot’s Flower and Garden Festival fully underway, lots of activity is going on at the park and you might miss a detail like this. But if you’re a parent of small children or a guest who looks for quiet areas to take a break, you should know about this spot! Waters that move like synchronized swimmers. Leaping through the air, disappearing soon after, leaving us to wonder where they’ll appear next. The jumping waters at Epcot’s Imagination Plaza are truly mesmerizing.

The fountains have been a feature at the park since its opening in 1982. Though areas around the fountains have seen plenty of changes through the years, with many more soon to come, these fountains have been there to remind us of simpler times. Even now, as the Figment play area with sensory activities remains closed, this outdoor fountain beckons children to run and play in an old-school way. Take a break and enjoy the beautiful waters.
