Epcot’s Cookie Stroll is back for Festival of the Holidays

Epcot's Cookie Stroll is back for Festival of the Holidays

One of my favorite events at Epcot’s Festival of the Holidays is back!  With many new cookies, this is one of my favorite years so far.  And at a total cost of $12.50 it is one of the most reasonable holiday deals at Disney.

First, pick up a Festival of the Holidays booklet where you will find the directions for the cookie stroll in the back cover. Then it’s up to you how you complete the stroll.  It doesn’t have to be completed in one day.  You actually have the whole festival to complete the stroll.  All of the cookies are found in the World Showcase so choose left or right and begin the tour!

I started in Canada with the Peppermint Pinwheel Cookie.  This is a peppermint shortbread cookie with chocolate and sprinkles on the side.  All cookies are $2.50 each.  Don’t forget to get your passport stamped!

Next, I found the Black and White Cookie between France and Morocco at the L’Chaim Holiday Kitchen.  This is a lemony and softer cookie covered by lots of frosting.  The actual cookie part of this is one of my favorites!

America was next with the Gingerbread Cookie.  This is a thin, but happy gingerbread man.

Then in Germany, I found the Linzer Cookie.  This may have been the best of them all.  It has some sort of a berry jam in between two thing cookies and covered with powdered sugar.

I completed the purchase portion of the cookie stroll with the Chocolate Crinkle Cookie up near the front of the Showcase Plaza.  After purchasing all five then you are eligible to pick up your free Santa Mickey Sugar Cookie.

It’s the cutest of all the cookies but very sweet with all the chocolate and sprinkles.  It wasn’t listed on any signage but they also gave out small bottles of milk with the cookie (which will be much needed after eating all that sugar).

So for six cookies and a small milk you pay just $12.50.  Honestly, this is one of our new favorite Christmas traditions and we hope it continues at a reasonable cost for years to come.  I should mention that you can purchase just the cookies you desire if you wish.  Enjoy all the fun at Epcot’s Festival of the Holidays before it is too late!

Julie and her son love to spend time in the parks with friends. The bare necessities would be occasional Disney splurges and cute Etsy accessories.
