The 24th Epcot International Food & Wine Festival starts August 29th for Global Culinary Fun

Whose hungry? The 24th Epcot International Food & Wine Festival will officially be open from August 29th through November 23rd this year! This year is the longest fest Walt Disney World has ever had! Foodies, rejoice!  There will be over 30 Global Marketplaces throughout Future World and the World Showcase and tons of awesome entertainment. One of the fans favorites, “Disney du Jour Dance Party,” is back and has been expanded to seven days a week. A DJ will be spinning plenty of fun beats from Sundays to Thursdays and on Fridays and Saturdays, stars from Radio Disney will be performing live. At the opening weekend, you’ll be able to see Meg Donnelly from the Disney Channel original movie “Zombies.” If you are a Ratatouille fan, Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak scavenger hunt is back as well as the Candy Sushi interactive experience.

Another returning aspect this year is the Eat to the Beat Concert Series! This 249 concert series will last until November 19th and will have some amazing acts that you won’t want to miss out on. There will be genres for every taste including rock, pop, latin, swing, country and more. If you want to guarantee a seat you can book the Eat to the Beat Dining Package for breakfast, lunch, or dinner at select Epcot Restaurants. Some artists that are already scheduled include Sawyer Brown, Lauren Daigle, Boyce Avenue, and Kris Allen as well as fan favorites: Plain White T’s, Sugar Ray, Hanson, Sheila E. and Boyz II Men! You don’t want to miss out on these great acts!

Reservations are also now available for new culinary adventures including:

  • Party for the Senses which is located at the World Showplace Events Pavilion featuring chefs and vintners from around the world.
  • Sunday Brunch with the Chef which is hosted by a variety of celebrity chefs including Cat Cora, Andrew Zimmerman, Buddy Valastro and more.
  • “Mix it, Make It, Celebrate It!” which is a workshop where you get to be in on the action with chefs, bakers, mixologists, and other pros.

You definitely don’t want to miss out on this great lineup for the 2019 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival! What are you most excited about??

  1. I’ve never been to the International Food & Wine Festival in Epcot, but I would love to go!!! I’m such a huge Hanson fan (they were my first cassette tape I bought in 6th grade) & it would literally be a childhood dream to see them live when they perform at Eat to the Beat! I also love Meg Donnelly–she’s hysterical on American Housewife & I loved her in Zombies on Disney Channel!! #DisneyVacayGiveaway

  2. I’m happy that it’s going for so long this time! I went one time and every day, my friend and I would end up at Epcot for food, regardless of the park we were in! #DisneyVacayGiveaway
