Walt Disney World has just announced plans to bring a brand-event to Epcot’s fabulous festival line-up. The Epcot International Festival of the Arts will make its début January 13th- February 20th, 2017.
The event will be a celebration of visual , culinary and performing arts and will take place over six colorful weekends.
Highlights of the Festival will include works on display from notable Disney artists such as Mary Blair and Herb Ryman and will also showcase the talents of current artists like Joe Kaminski and Costa Alavezos. Guests will also have the opportunity to watch the creative process live.
The Epcot International Festival of the Arts will also be joining forces with Disney Theatrical to present a showcase of favorite music featuring Broadway talent at the American Gardens Theatre stage.
Finally, what would a festival be at Epcot without tasty treats? Guests to the Festival will be able to feast on edible works of art at one of the Festival’s Food Studios.
