We all love the food kiosks that are prevalent around Epcot’s World Showcase during its Festivals.  The 2017 Flower & Garden Festival’s theme ‘Fresh Epcot’ does not disappoint on flavor.  Spend a day discovering the freshness and color of the foods offered at the Epcot Flower & Garden Festival Outdoor Kitchens as they are sure to tempt your palate.

If you enjoy a variety of beverages then you will have plenty to choose from at the World Showcase Outdoor Kitchens.  Frozen drinks are a personal favorite and the Twining’s Green Tea Berry Mint Julep can be found at The Berry Basket.  This beautiful drink is available with, or without, alcohol and is absolutely delicious.  If Margarita’s are your beverage of choice then you must try the colorful Elderflower Pineapple Margarita and the Hibiscus Margarita from Jardin De Fiestas.  If you are a Beer drinker then you may want to try a Beer Flight from The Smokehouse: Barbecue and Brews Outdoor Kitchen at the America Pavillion.

If you are a small plates, main meal, kind of person then you are in luck.  La Isla Fresca offers some amazing choices from Sugar Cane Shrimp Skewer and Jamaican-braised Beef, to Caribbean Conch Salad.  If you enjoy Lamb Chops then The Berry Basket is the Outdoor Kitchen for you.  Northern Bloom is offering delicious Beef Tenderloin Tips and Seared Scallops with Fresh Green Beans.  The Florida Fresh Outdoor Kitchen is fixing up Shrimp and Stone Ground Grits as well as Carne Asada.  The Merquez “Hot Dog” Sausage, at Taste of Marrakesh, is made with spicy beef and lamb; thus offering a completely different flavor from the typical hot dog or sausage.  The Pulled Pig Slider from The Smokehouse: Barbecue and Brews has a nice combination of freshness, color, and flavor.  These are just a few of the many choices offered at the 2017 Epcot Flower & Garden Festival Outdoor Kitchens so arrive hungry and enjoy!

Time for Dessert!  With all of the great food offerings you may be hard-pressed to leave room for dessert.  Primavera Kitchen has a new take on an old favorite with its Strawberry Tiramisu.  If you love chocolate then you must try the Warm Chocolate Cake with Bourbon-salted Caramel Sauce and Spiced Pecans from The Smokehouse: Barbecue and Brews.  La Isla Fresca has created a fabulous FlanCocho.  One of the prettiest desserts on offer is the Key Lime Tart, with Toasted Meringue, and topped with a Chocolate Butterfly, from Florida Fresh.  Fleur De Lys has a Macaron Chocolat Framboise, which is a large Raspberry Macaron with Chocolate Fudge and Raspberry Jam.  This particular dessert choice is a favorite for some of our Chip and Company Disney Addicts!  The ever-popular Frushi is back again this year, in all of its beautiful glory and deliciousness, at Hanami Outdoor Kitchen.

The Epcot Flower & Garden Festival evokes thoughts of fresh flowers and garden vegetables.  We were thrilled to see how the Disney Team has incorporated so much of this into the foods being offered this year during the festival.  You will find flowers, herbs, grains, fresh vegetables and fruits incorporated into the many food options created for this year’s festival.  The Epcot Flower & Garden Outdoor Kitchen have hit a bullseye with regards to freshness, flavor and color that are sure to tempt any palate.
